Two and a half decades ago, when the world was heavily reliant on natural gas, Jeyapal, CEO of Kristi Corporation with his background in Power Engineering from St. Petersburg University, Russia foresaw a different path. He recognized the immense potential of recycling as a sustainable solution long before it became a global imperative. As a clean tech entrepreneur, Jeyapal was instrumental in transforming the lifecycle of aluminum cans. By recycling and supplying them to ALCAN, one of PEPSI's largest suppliers, he demonstrated that business success and environmental stewardship could go hand in hand.

Jeyapal's journey did not stop with aluminum. With over ten years of extensive knowledge and experience in recycling and material management, he embarked on an ambitious project—establishing the first-ever magnesium recycling plant in India. This venture marked a significant milestone, not only for Jeyapal and Kristi Corporation but also for the magnesium industry at large. By concentrating on magnesium alloy production and magnesium granules, Jeyapal's initiative aligned seamlessly with the principles of the circular economy, demonstrating a practical model for sustainable industrial practices.

Cui Kai jointed Shanxi Yinguang Huasheng Magnesium Co., Ltd. in 1988 when the company was just set up and has worked at the company for 33 years, now serving as the Vice President and Director of the technology center of the company. With rich practical experience in the magnesium industry for over 30 years, he was recognized as a magnesium expert by Magnesium Branch of China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association.

He presided over the building of the magnesium smeltery with an annual capacity of 50,000t, the wheel production line with an annual output of 300,000 units, the semi-continuous rod casting line, magnesium ingot production line, extrusion line, surface treatment micro-arc oxidation production line, etc. He owns great experience especially in magnesium production and smelting, and is acknowledged as a magnesium smelting expert by insiders. From 1999 to 2002, the first magnesium alloy extrusion line (630tpy) and the first magnesium semi-continuous casting line was completed under the leadership of him, which contributed 1/3 of the total magnesium alloy exports of China and promoted the rapid development of the magnesium alloy industry. In 2009, the launch of the third wheel forging line in China also laid a foundation for the application of magnesium alloy in the wheel market.

Now he is mainly studying the development of new magnesium alloy materials and deep processing follow-up technique, making great contribution to the technical breakthrough of magnesium alloy application and industry expansion. He has published more than 30 related papers, and participated in the publication of more than 20 patents and 10 national and industry standards. He won many awards in the magnesium alloy industry and won the first science and technology prize issued by Chinese Nonferrous Metals Industry in 2019.

Mr. Gao Bing, who was formerly the general manager of Nanjing Welbow Metals Trading Co., Ltd., the general manager of Ruibao Metal (Hong Kong) Co., Ltd. as well as the general manager and supervisor of Nanjing Welbow Light Metal Precision Manufacturing Co., Ltd., is now the general manager of Yian Welbow Technology Co., Ltd.

After completing his MBA having worked as a Banker in the UK, Mr. Bart Udeshi moved to India and joined Metals Range 15 years ago as Business Development Executive.

Metals Range is a 52 year old company started by Mr. Ranjit Udeshi. Metals Range traders in Base Metals, Minor Metals and Ferro Alloys. The company has 7 sub companies under itself with offices in India, UK and HK. He is now specialized in the field of Magnesium Metal, apart from other Minor Metals and Ferro Alloys. He works directly with numerous end user in the Aerospace Industry, Automotive Industry, Electronics Industry, Metallurgical Industry, etc.

Mr. Weijun Zhi belongs to the Han ethnic group and is a CPC member with a doctoral degree. He worked successively in Baosteel International, the Engineering Equipment Department of Baosteel, the Human Resources Department of Baosteel Engineering, the office of Baosteel Stainless Steel, the office of Baosteel Group/Baowu Group, Baosteel Central Research Institute and the Magnesium Product Market Development Working Group of Baosteel Metal. Now he is the General Manager of Magnesium Product Department of Baowu Magnesium and General Manager Assistant of Baowu Magnesium.

Dr. Zisheng Zhen received his PhD in materials science and engineering from University of Science and Technology Beijing in 2003. He then conducted further research works at Oxford University and Brunel University in England, and at the GKSS Magnesium Innovation Center in Germany. His major research areas are alloy development, processing technology, and castability evaluation etc. In 2009, Dr Zhen joined Magontec Xi’an as the R&D Manager. Since then he dedicated himself to promoting and expanding Mg and Mg alloy applications. He took up his current role as Technical Director of Magontec Asia in 2011. He is currently members of several industrial and professional committees, including CMR, IMA etc.

Mr. Daniel Chu has nearly 20-year working experience in magnesium metal industry and has profound understanding on developments of the Chinese magnesium industry and magnesium market situations of both China and overseas. He was invited repeatedly to deliver speeches and take parti in discussions in magnesium meetings both in China and overseas.

Feilong Yin graduated from the Department of Automotive Engineering of Tsinghua University with a bachelor’s degree, and further obtained a master’s and doctorate in Mechanical Systems Engineering from Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology. He successively served as the head of the Overseas Sales Headquarters of Iseki Co., Ltd. and the vice president of NINA Co., Ltd., and personally founded and leads a multinational consumer products trading company.
