Tibet Huayu Mining Corporation Limited (hereinafter referred to as Huayu Mining) was established in October 2002 with a registered capital of RMB555 million (USD87.8 million), and then was listed at Shanghai Stock Exchange (SH.601020) on March 16, 2016. Huayu Mining has two mines, Zhaxikang lead-zinc polymetallic mine of 600,000tpy in Lhünzê county of Tibet and Lawu copper-zinc mine of 78,000tpy in Damxung county, in production, which could produce 40,000t of lead, zinc, antimony, 60t of sliver and 1,500t of copper annually. The other two mines, Kangqiaoqi gold-antimony mine with an annual capacity of 1.5 million tons in Tajikistan and Nibao gold mine with an annual capacity of 660,000t in Pu'an county, Guizhou province, are under construction now. Junjie Liang, metallurgist, graduated from Central South University and currently works as a researcher at Hsikwangshan Twinkling Star's National Enterprise Technology Center, Vice Manager and Chief Engineer for Hsikwangshan Twinkling Star's antimony smelters, mainly engaging in antimony production and technical research. He has led and participated in over 10 research and development projects, including 2 national key research programs, and also presided over the formulation and revision of 3 national and industrial standards.
