Asian Metal successfully held the 9th World Aluminum Raw Materials Summit 2018 during May 18-20 in Sanya, Hainan. The summit focused on imported bauxite and covered alumina, electrolytic aluminum, aluminum fluoride and carbon. Over 300 delegates from China, Russia, Malaysia, Australia, India, Guinea, USA, the UK, France, Indonesia, Singapore, Turkey and Iran attended the summit. The summit created excellent condition for Belt and Road Initiative in aluminum industry and stimulated China’s investment in bauxite overseas and guaranteed safe production of alumina in China.
The summit was sponsored by Alcoa, Eurasian Resources, Metro Mining, Alufer Mining, Zibo Rundi Aluminum Industry Co., Ltd., Weihai Neptune Cyclone Co., Ltd. and Shandong Junhai Energy Energy Co., Ltd.
It was a great honor for us to invite 13 speakers to attend the summit. Most of them are from large enterprises from both home and abroad, related governmental departments and aluminum association. During the summit, they gave us wonderful speeches about bauxite, alumina, electrolytic aluminum and aluminum fluoride.
We will continue to work hard to create international platform and feature summit based on aluminum raw materials in the future.
