Operationally, ANTAM continued to optimize mining activities and production management. In 9M26, ANTAM produced 12.16 million wet metric tons (wmt) of nickel ore, while nickel ore sales reached 10.73 million wmt.
Meanwhile, ferronickel production totaled 11,638 tonnes of nickel contained in ferronickel (TNi) in 9M26, supported by operational stability and adequate raw material availability. Cumulatively, ferronickel sales increased 71% to 13,971 TNi in 9M26 from 8,182 TNi in 9M25.
Bauxite production reached 2 million wmt in 9M26, in line with optimized mining activities and operational management. During 9M26, bauxite sales increased 49% to 1.64 million wmt from 1.10 million wmt in 9M25.
As operations at the CGA plant became more optimized, chemical grade alumina production reached 153,399 tons in 9M26, up 14% from 134,224 tons in 9M25. Alumina sales totaled 146,642 tons, up 9% from 134,768 tons in 9M25.
