Major Chinese steel mills' daily crude steel output down in mid-Oct

Major Chinese steel mills reported crude steel production of 18.94 million tonnes in mid-October, with daily output averaging 1,894,000 tonnes, decreasing 2.3% from the previous ten-day period, according to China Iron & Steel Association (CISA).
