Major Chinese steel mills' daily pig iron output declines in mid-Oct

Major Chinese steel mills reported pig iron production of 17.28 million tonnes in mid-October, with daily output averaging 1,728,000 tonnes, decreasing 2.8% from the previous ten-day period, according to China Iron & Steel Association (CISA).
