60ktpy NEV lightweight materials project lands in Jiangsu

A 60,000tpy new energy vehicle (NEV) lightweight materials project officially landed in Jinhu County, Jiangsu Province.

The project was introduced by Yintu Town and is being invested in and built by a business from Wuxi. It involves the renovation and expansion of 11,000 square meters of factory space, including production areas, testing and R&D centers. The project will be equipped with metal melting furnaces, ingot casting lines, fully automated robots, and other production equipment, alongside standardized inspection and testing tools such as spectrometers, tensile testing machines, and Brinell hardness testers. Focusing on the R&D and industrialization of NEV lightweight materials, the project will engage in metal materials manufacturing, non-ferrous metal casting and rolling, and aluminum alloy processing. Its products will supply major companies including Chalco, NIO, Li Auto, and SAIC Motor.

Once completed, the project is expected to generate annual invoiced sales of over RMB300 million (USD44.75 million) and profits and taxes of over RMB20 million (USD2.98 million).
