On September 14, the Zhengzhou Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology published a public notice on the capacity transfer plan for one 80-ton electric arc furnace owned by Henan Fuhua Iron and Steel Group Co., Ltd. The public notice period runs from September 14 to September 21, 2026.
The 80-ton furnace, which represents a capacity of 900,000tpy, will be transferred to Minyuan Iron and Steel Group Co., Ltd., located in Chenshuanglou Village, Chenji Town, Yongcheng City, Shangqiu. The transferee will use the capacity for its electric furnace premium steel project.
