Yaxin Longshun Special Steel to build rare earth alloy special steel base

On September 15, the government of Shiguai District in Baotou, Inner Mongolia, and Inner Mongolia Yaxin Longshun Special Steel Co., Ltd. held a signing ceremony for a demonstration project to build a rare earth alloy special steel industrial base through integration, restructuring, transformation and upgrading.

The project involves a total investment of RMB8.6 billion (USD1.28 billion). In line with the steel industry's shift toward high-end, intelligent, green and integrated development, it will focus on special steel and new rare earth alloy materials. It also aims to advance the integration, restructuring, quality improvement and upgrading of the region's traditional steel industry.
