Major Chinese steel mills' daily pig iron output up in early Sep

Major Chinese steel mills reported pig iron production of 17.95 million tonnes during the first ten-day period of September, with daily output averaging around 1,795,000 tonnes, increasing 1.7% from late August, according to China Iron & Steel Association (CISA).
