Jingye's HC220YD+Z-XY galvanized sheet ready for mass supply

The High-Grade Steel Division of Jingye Group achieved another breakthrough in high-end product development. A high-strength, deep-drawing hot-dip galvanized steel sheet, grade HC220YD+Z-XY, custom-developed for a steel company in Shandong, completed trial production. The first batch of 112.19 tonnes all passed quality checks, with mechanical properties, coating quality and surface indicators fully meeting the customer's technical requirements. The product is now ready for volume supply.

HC220YD+Z-XY is an interstitial-free (IF) high-strength hot-dip galvanized steel sheet that combines a solid strength grade, excellent deep-drawing formability and the corrosion resistance of hot-dip galvanizing. It is suitable for complex bending and stamping applications, while placing high technical demands on substrate material stability, continuous annealing, air-knife coating control and strip shape accuracy.
