Changshan Jinshi Mining resumes fluorspar production

On September 10, China Kings Resources Group Co., Ltd. announced that its subsidiary, Zhejiang Changshan Jinshi Mining Co., Ltd., will resume production on Sept. 11 after completing rectification work required by Zhejiang provincial regulators.

The company had previously disclosed that underground mines in Zhejiang owned by the group were temporarily suspended at the request of mine regulatory and emergency management authorities, and that it had carried out self-inspections and corrective measures in line with regulatory requirements.

Changshan Jinshi Mining has now completed the required rectification in accordance with the Zhejiang Emergency Management Department and passed tiered acceptance inspections by higher-level safety regulators, the company said. China Kings Resources added that it will continue to push for the orderly resumption of operations at its subsidiaries.

According to the company's website, the fluorspar mine of Changshan Jinshi has a designed annual mining and processing capacity of 300,000 tonnes. The Yanqian fluorspar mining and processing project in Xinchang Township, Changshan, was the fundraising project for China Kings Resources' initial public offering.
