60ktpy carbon-coated aluminum foil project settles in Guiyang

A new materials project with a total investment of RMB1.3 billion (USD193.80 million) to produce 60,000 tonnes of carbon-coated aluminum foil annually officially landed in the Aluminum Processing Park of the Qingzhen Economic Development Zone in Guiyang.

The project is being developed by Hefei Biopin New Material Technology Co., Ltd. Once operational, its products will directly supply leading power battery manufacturers such as CATL and BYD, helping to create a complete industrial chain that runs from bauxite and electrolytic aluminum to power battery foil and carbon-coated aluminum foil, ultimately serving lithium battery manufacturing.
