Thailand launches first sunset review of anti-dumping duties on Chinese hot-dip galvanized steel

Thailand's Department of Foreign Trade (DFT) under the Ministry of Commerce has initiated its first sunset review investigation into the anti-dumping duties on hot-dip galvanized cold-rolled steel coils originating from China, following applications submitted by domestic Thai companies.

Thailand originally launched an anti-dumping investigation into imports of these products from China on February 21, 2020. The DFT subsequently issued a preliminary determination on August 3, 2020, deciding to impose a provisional anti-dumping duty of 35.67% on the CIF price of the products.
