Major Chinese steel mills' daily crude steel output down in late Aug

Major Chinese steel mills reported crude steel production of 20.74 million tonnes during the final eleven days of August, with daily output averaging 1,885,000 tonnes, down 4.0% from mid-August, according to China Iron & Steel Association (CISA).
