Jindu Mining secures new mining license for Shidi silver-lead-zinc mine
Shengda Resources Co., Ltd. announced on September 2 that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Chifeng Jindu Mining Co., Ltd., has recently completed the consolidation of its mining rights for the Shidi silver-lead-zinc mine (with a mining area of 4.4750 square kilometers) and exploration rights for the surrounding Shidi lead zinc polymetallic prospecting area (with an exploration area of 3.73 square kilometers). Following the consolidation, Jindu Mining has received the mining rights certificate and the mining license issued by the Chifeng Municipal Bureau of Natural Resources.
As a result of this consolidation, the mining area of the Shidi silver lead zinc mine has been expanded to 5.2397 square kilometers. While the move is not expected to have a material impact on the company's operating performance in the short term, it will be beneficial in the long run by increasing Jindu Mining's available mineral resources and extending the service life of the mine.
