EIA public notice issued for Zhengfeng New Materials' metal deep processing project

On August 26, the Tangshan Municipal Administrative Examination and Approval Bureau released the environmental impact assessment (EIA) acceptance notice for the Phase II deep metal processing project of Tangshan Zhengfeng New Materials Co., Ltd.

The project, with a total investment of RMB350 million (USD52.08 million), is located in the Equipment Manufacturing Industrial Zone of Hebei Fengrun Economic Development Zone, covering an area of 129 mu (approximately 8.6 hectares). It involves the construction of one production plant, along with two hot dip galvanizing lines, one stainless steel section surface treatment line, and auxiliary facilities including a circulating water pump house, wastewater treatment station, LNG station, air compressor station, waste heat recovery system, power distribution room, acid mist collection and treatment facilities, and zinc fume absorption and treatment systems.

Upon completion, the project will have production capacities of 400,000tpy of hot dip galvanized steel sections and 20,000tpy of surface treated stainless steel sections.
