Major Chinese steel mills' daily pig iron output up in early Aug

Major Chinese steel mills reported pig iron production of 18.50 million tonnes in the first ten days of August, with daily output averaging around 1,850,000 tonnes, up 5.5% from late July, according to China Iron & Steel Association (CISA).
