EIA notice issued for Tinci Materials' 160ktpy high-compaction LFP project in Taizhou
On August 13, the Taizhou Municipal Ecology and Environment Bureau of Zhejiang Province released the first public notice of the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) for the 160,000 tpy high-compaction lithium iron phosphate (LFP) cathode material project proposed by Tinci Materials (Taizhou) Co., Ltd.
The project is located at No. 1111 Yuzhou Road, Taizhou Bay New Area, Taizhou, Zhejiang. It will involve the installation of feeding systems, emulsifying kettles, sand mills, spray dryers, sintering furnaces, jet mills, electromagnetic iron removers, and other auxiliary equipment. Upon completion, the facility will have a production capacity of 160,000tpy of high compaction LFP cathode material.
In parallel, the company plans to adjust its existing under construction 25,000tpy LFP cathode material project at the same site. After the adjustment and integration, the total capacity for LFP cathode materials across the entire plant is expected to reach 185,000tpy.
