Anshan Zizhu puts 1150 section steel line into production

Anshan Zizhu Light Weight Special Steel Co., Ltd. recently completed a one-time hot load trial of its new 1150 high-performance complex section steel line for weathering resistant steel. The first trial rolled steel sheet pile passed  through the roughing and finishing mill stands, entered the cooling bed, and met all dimensional specifications.

Designed with a capacity of 800,000tpy, the new line will produce a broad range of sections, including 700-series H-beams, 600-series U-shaped sheet piles, heavy rails up to 120 (kg/m or size equivalent), 300-series angle steels for power transmission towers, bulb flat steel, L-section steel, split T-section steel, I-beams, channel steels and other standard structural profiles.
