Guizhou Chinalco completes installation of No. 5 mill housing for battery foil project

On August 10, the housing of the No. 5 1850mm aluminum foil finishing mill, the centerpiece of Guizhou Chinalco Aluminum's 6,000tpy ultra-thin battery foil project, was hoisted and installed in place.

Located in Baiyun District, Guiyang City, the project leverages the company's existing integrated cast-rolling and cold-rolling production chain, with the addition of one new 1850mm battery foil finishing mill. Upon reaching full capacity, the project is expected to generate an annual output value exceeding RMB200 million (USD29.66 million) and create stable new employment opportunities.
