Major Chinese steel mills' daily finished steel output up in mid-Jul

Major Chinese steel mills produced 19.29 million tonnes of finished steel in the second ten days of July, with an average daily output of 1,929,000 tonnes, up 2.5% from early July, according to China Iron & Steel Association (CISA).

By the end of the period, finished steel inventories at major mills were 18.13 million tonnes, an increase of 1,360,000 tonnes, or 8.1%, from ten days earlier.
