Major Chinese steel mills' daily finished steel output down in early Jul

Major Chinese steel mills produced 18.82 million tonnes of finished steel in the first ten days of July, with an average daily output of 1,882,000 tonnes, down 15.2% from late June, according to China Iron & Steel Association (CISA).

By the end of the period, finished steel inventories at major mills were 16.77 million tonnes, an increase of 490,000 tonnes, or 3.0%, from ten days earlier.
