Xingguang Semiconductor acquires indium phosphide business
On July 23, Xingye Technology Co., Ltd. announced that the company and its wholly-owned subsidiary, Jiangsu Xingguang Semiconductor Co., Ltd., have reached an agreement with Qingdao Lion Semiconductor Technology Co., Ltd. and other relevant parties regarding the acquisition of Qingdao Lion's indium phosphide business and related assets by Jiangsu Xingguang for a cash consideration of RMB55 million (USD8.12 million). The "Indium Phosphide Business and Asset Acquisition Agreement" was officially signed on the same day.
The acquired indium phosphide business and assets have total assets of RMB17,024,600 (USD2,512,542) and net assets of RMB6,370,400 (USD940,163). For the period from January to May 2026, the business generated revenue of RMB2,343,800 (USD345,905) and recorded a net loss of RMB1,440,900 (USD212,651). Outstanding orders currently stand at less than RMB2 million (USD296,164). The acquisition is expected to have a minimal impact on the Company's current-period profit.
