China's copper cathode output grows 4.0% YoY in Jun

China's refined copper (copper cathode) production was around 1.33 million tonnes in June 2026, up by 4.0% YoY, and that of copper products decreased by 4.4% YoY to 2.16 million tonnes, according to the National Bureau of Statistics.

From January to June, China produced about 7.61 million tonnes of copper cathode, up by 5.2% over the prior year period, and 11.98 million tonnes of copper products, up by 0.3% versus a year ago.
