Kaixin New Materials' integrated anode material project reaches full operation

Kaixin New Materials Technology Co., Ltd. has recently commenced full commercial operations at its integrated anode material project in Hebei Province.

With a total investment of RMB1.25 billion (USD184.58 million) and spanning 400 mu (approximately 26.7 hectares) of land, the project features a comprehensive suite of core production units, including a 450,000tpy aromatics enrichment unit, a 270,000tpy dearomatized oil refining unit, a 120,000tpy anode material precursor production unit, a 50,000tpy calcination unit and a 10,000tpy sulfur recovery unit.

The project is currently operating with stable performance and steadily ramping up production capacity. For this year, it is expected to generate RMB1.50 billion (USD221.50 million) in output value and contribute RMB60 million (USD8.86 million) in taxes. At full capacity, the project is projected to achieve an annual output value of RMB3.50 billion (USD516.82 million) and annual tax contributions of RMB150 million (USD22.15 million), while creating 200 new jobs.
