300ktpy high-performance aluminum-based materials project lands in Liuzhou

A signing ceremony was held on July 11 in Liubei District, Liuzhou, for a 300,000tpy high-performance aluminum-based materials and deep-processing project.

The project is a joint venture between Guangxi Guangke Academy Aluminum Industry Co., Ltd. and Guangxi Luban New Material Technology Co., Ltd., with a total investment of RMB800 million (USD118 million). Phase I of the project is backed by RMB350 million (USD52 million) and will establish a production capacity of 300,000tpy of high-performance aluminum-based materials, with an estimated output value of RMB6 billion (USD886 million).

Once fully operational, the project will strengthen Liubei District's industrial chain from "aluminum deep-processing" to "end-product applications," creating an aluminum-based new materials hub that integrates high-end manufacturing with recycling and circular utilization.
