Jiayuan Technology puts two copper foil production bases into operation simultaneously

On July 12, Jiayuan Technology, a leading manufacturer of high-performance electrolytic copper foil, simultaneously launched production lines at its two major bases in Meizhou and Jiangxi.

At the Meixian District facility in Meizhou, Guangdong, the phase I of the 50,000tpy high-performance lithium battery copper foil project--specifically, Plant 4, Zone A--officially commenced operations at Guangdong Jiayuan Times New Energy Materials Co., Ltd. This expansion ensures a stable supply of ultra-thin copper foil to key domestic power battery giants. With the new Zone A lines now online, combined with the previously operational 25,000tpy lines in plant 3 and the 12,500tpy lines in Plant 4, Zone B, the base's overall lithium-battery copper foil capacity continues to scale up steadily.

Meanwhile, at Jiangxi Jiayuan Technology Co., Ltd., the Zone C production lines of the phase I 20,000tpy electrolytic copper foil project were also officially put into operation, filling a critical gap in the domestic production of high-end PCB copper foil as a substitute for imported materials.

Jiayuan Technology now operates six production bases with a total planned copper foil capacity of 250,000tpy, and has set a target of exceeding 175,000tpy in total capacity by 2026.
