Yinman Mining's copper polymetallic mine expansion project secures land use approval
Xingye Silver & Tin announced on July 13 that its subsidiary, West Ujimqin Banner Yinman Mining Co., Ltd., has received the Land Use Approval for the 2,970,000tpy Expansion Project of the Baiyinchagan East Mountain Mining Area Copper-Tin-Lead-Silver-Zinc Mine from the People's Government of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. With the approval in place, the project is now cleared for construction and will commence site preparation and shaft sinking works in the coming days, with commissioning expected to begin in the fourth quarter of 2028.
Yinman Mining is the flagship production asset of Xingye Silver & Tin, primarily producing silver, tin, zinc, copper, lead, and antimony. Once the expansion project is completed and operational, the mine's production capacity will increase from 1,650,000tpy to 2,970,000tpy, delivering a substantial boost to core metal output.
