China Rare Earth Nonferrous to build pilot lines for rare earth powder materials

China Rare Earth Nonferrous Metals Co., Ltd. recently announced that its board of directors has approved the project proposal for "R&D and Pilot Line Construction of High-End Rare Earth Functional New Materials." The company plans to invest RMB19.5 million (USD2.87 million) of its own funds to build two demonstration pilot lines for high-performance specialty rare earth powder materials in Guangzhou. The project is expected to span two years and will have an annual production capacity of 20 tons upon completion, with the goal of advancing critical material technologies for high-end equipment applications.
