Shanxi You'an breaks ground on 50ktpy high-density LFP project

Construction officially commenced on the 50,000tpy high-density lithium iron phosphate (LFP) production base project of Shanxi You'an New Energy Technology Co., Ltd., located in the Datong Economic and Technological Development Zone.

The project represents the first phase of Shanxi You'an's 100,000tpy high-density LFP cathode material initiative. With a planned total investment of approximately RMB250 million (USD36.86 million) for this phase, the development will focus on building production workshops, cathode material production lines, a testing center, a nitrogen station, a power distribution station, and other supporting auxiliary facilities.

Founded in January 2026 with a registered capital of RMB50 million (USD7.37 million), Shanxi You'an is headquartered in Datong City, Shanxi Province, and operates primarily in the technology promotion and application services sector.
