Vietnam launches sunset review of anti-dumping duties on Chinese H-Beam imports

Vietnam's Ministry of Industry and Trade (MOIT) has announced the initiation of a sunset review concerning the anti-dumping (AD) duty currently applied to H-beam steel products imported from China. The review was launched following a request filed by domestic producer Posco Yamato Vina Steel Joint Stock Company, and is intended to evaluate the effectiveness of the existing duty in order to determine whether its revocation or continuation is warranted.

The current AD rate for the subject products from China stands at 13.38%. The products under review fall under the following Customs Tariff Statistics Position Numbers: 7216.33.11, 7216.33.19, 7216.33.90, 7228.70.10, and 7228.70.90.
