Zangge Lithium, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Zangge Mining, received the "Filing Notice for Industrial and Information Technology Projects" from the Qinghai Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, granting approval for a technical transformation project titled "Phase I of the 20,000tpy Lithium Carbonate Project – Recovery of Lithium Ions from Lithium Mother Liquor Using Recycled Adsorption Process."
Located in the Qarhan Salt Lake in Golmud City, the project carries a total investment of RMB32 million (USD4.70 million), fully funded by the company's own capital. The construction period runs from June to December 2026. The upgrade will retrofit the existing 10,000tpy of lithium carbonate production unit to enhance overall resource utilization efficiency. No additional land or new structures will be required, and the company stated that the project will not have a material impact on its normal operations.
