China's iron ore production drops 14.5% YoY in May

China produced about 397.11 million tonnes of iron ore in January-May 2026, down by 3.5% from the prior year, including 74.17 million tonnes in May, down by 14.5% YoY, according to the National Bureau of Statistics.
