Yongtai Aluminum's aluminum alloy billet project to start trial production in Jul

Construction of the foundation work for Yongtai Aluminum's 60,000tpy aluminum alloy round billet project in Holingol largely completed, with equipment installation and commissioning for the first production line expected to begin within the next week.

With a total investment of nearly RMB100 million (USD14.75 million), the project focuses on the high-end aluminum materials segment, specializing in premium-quality aluminum alloy rods and billets.

Construction kicked off in late October 2025. The first production line is scheduled to begin trial operations by the end of July 2026, with the second line expected to come online by the end of the year. At full capacity, the project is projected to create approximately 60 local jobs and generate annual tax revenues exceeding RMB10 million (USD1.47 million).
