Qinghai NFC secures real estate certificate for prospecting rights at Harizha polymetallic mine
China Nonferrous Metal Industry's Foreign Engineering and Construction Co., Ltd. (NFC) announced that its majority-owned subsidiary, Qinghai NFC Mining Development Co., Ltd., officially obtained the prospecting rights real estate certificate issued by the Department of Natural Resources of Qinghai Province.
The prospecting rights were put up for public listing by Qinghai Guotou Mining Investment Co., Ltd. In March 2026, Qinghai NFC secured the rights with a bid of RMB214 million (USD31.65 million), followed by the signing of a transaction agreement and full payment of the purchase price.
The licensed exploration area is located in Dulan County, Haixi Mongolian and Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Qinghai Province, covering an exploration area of 12.6279 square kilometers. The primary target mineral is lead. The prospecting rights are valid from June 8, 2026, through November 25, 2030.
