Major Chinese steel mills' daily pig iron output falls in late May

Major Chinese steel mills reported pig iron production of around 20.01 million tonnes in the final eleven days of May, with daily output averaging around 1,819,000 tonnes, down by 3.2% from mid-May, according to China Iron & Steel Association (CISA).
