Southwest China's flagship acid-tandem cold rolling line starts up in Yunnan

The first finished coil has rolled off Yunnan Shenlong's 1050mm six-high five-stand pickling-tandem cold rolling mill fabricated by China First Heavy Industries, marking the official launch of full trial production.

Purpose-built for high-end thin-gauge cold rolled sheets, the production line features outstanding rolling precision, high yield rate and superior automation. It mass-produces premium cold rolled products with excellent flatness, tight dimensional tolerance and superior surface finish, widely used in hardware, home appliance panels, automotive components and precision tubing, filling the regional capacity gap for high-grade cold rolled sheets across Southwest China.

Commercial operation completes the localized full industrial chain covering hot rolling, pickling, cold rolling and finishing. The project fuels the intelligent, high-quality and eco-friendly upgrade of Yunnan's steel sector.
