China publishes implementation regulations for Mineral Resources Law
Premier Li Qiang of the State Council has signed a decree to publish the Implementation Regulations of the Mineral Resources Law of the People's Republic of China, which will take effect on June 15, 2026.
Consisting of eight chapters and 79 articles, the regulations are designed to ensure the effective implementation of the revised Mineral Resources Law, promote the rational development and utilization of mineral resources, strengthen the protection of mineral resources and the ecological environment, facilitate high-quality development of the mining industry, and ensure the security of mineral resources.
