Major Chinese steel mills' daily pig iron output increases in early May

Major Chinese steel mills reported pig iron production of around 18.95 million tonnes in the first ten days of May, with daily output averaging around 1,895,000 tonnes, up 2.4% from late April, according to China Iron & Steel Association (CISA).
