Sorrento Resources hits high-grade rare earths at Bottom Brook

Sorrento Resources Ltd., a Canadian exploration company targeting mineral projects in Atlantic Canada, has reported a significant intercept from its Bottom Brook Project in Newfoundland and Labrador, with drillhole SRS26-006 returning 33 metres grading 2.12% total rare earth oxides (TREO).

Key intercepts from the drill program include:
SRS26-006 intersected 33m of 2.12% TREO from 69m (22.3% of the TREO is NdPr)
SRS26-004 intersected 11m of 1.10% TREO from 93m (23.16% of the TREO is NdPr)
SRS26-001 intersected 18m of 1.51% TREO from 118m (23.37% of the TREO is NdPr)

Additional assay results are anticipated in the coming weeks, after which the company plans to initiate metallurgical test work.

The Bottom Brook Project spans 16 mineral licences comprising 606 contiguous claims covering 15,150 hectares, situated approximately 40 kilometres south of Corner Brook. Rare earth mineralization at Bottom Brook is hosted in monazite-enriched horizons.

Sorrento Resources is focused on acquiring, exploring, and developing mineral assets across Canada, with an emphasis on precious metals, rare earth elements, gold, and base metals.
