Zhongke Xingcheng breaks ground on phase one of lithium battery anode material project in Oman
On May 8, construction officially began on Phase One of the integrated anode material base for lithium-ion batteries operated by Zhongke Xingcheng in Oman's Sohar Free Zone.
In June 2025, Zhongke Electric, through its wholly-owned Hong Kong subsidiary Zhongke Xingcheng, established a project company in Oman to develop an integrated anode material base with an annual production capacity of 200,000 tonnes for lithium-ion batteries. The total planned investment for the project is no more than RMB8 billion (USD1.18 billion). The base will be built in two phases, each with a design capacity of 100,000 tonnes per year, and a construction period of approximately 36 months for each phase. The first stage of Phase One is expected to begin production in 2027.
