EAEU to extend anti-dumping duties on aluminum strips from China and Azerbaijan

The Department for Internal Market Defence of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) has released its final disclosure regarding the sunset review of anti-dumping (AD) measures on aluminum strips originating from China and Azerbaijan.

The authority determined that removing the existing AD duties would likely lead to a recurrence of dumping and continued material injury to the domestic industries of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU). As a result, the commission recommends maintaining the current duty rates for an additional five years.

Under the proposal, Chinese products will face a 13.14% duty, while imports from Azerbaijan will be subject to a 16.18% rate. The affected products fall under EAEU tariff codes 7606 11 910 0, 7606 12 200 3, 7606 12 200 8, 7606 12 920 3, and 7606 12 920 8.
