Major Chinese steel mills' daily finished steel output rebounds in mid-Apr

Major Chinese steel mills produced around 20.15 million tonnes of finished steel during the second ten-day period of April, with the daily average output of 2,015,000 tonnes, up 3.1% from early April, according to China Iron & Steel Association (CISA).

By the end of the period, finished steel inventories at major mills were 18.63 million tonnes, an increase of 1.12 million tonnes, or 6.4%, from ten days ago.
