Major Chinese steel mills' daily pig iron output edges up in mid-Apr

Major Chinese steel mills produced about 18.98 million tonnes of pig iron during the second ten-day period of April, with an average daily output of 1,898,000 tonnes, up slightly 0.3% from early April, according to China Iron & Steel Association (CISA).
