Ya'an XTC to build 40ktpa LMFP production line

Ya'an XTC New Energy Materials Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of XTC New Energy, plans to build a new 40,000-tonne-per-annum lithium iron (manganese) phosphate (LMFP) production line in Ya'an, Sichuan, on top of its existing 40,000tpa lithium iron phosphate (LFP) capacity.

The project involves a total investment of RMB734 million (USD107 million), with a construction period of 25 months and planned commissioning in June 2028. Upon completion, the company's total LMFP/LFP capacity will reach 80,000 tonnes per year.

To support the project and ensure sustainable development, the company plans to increase its registered capital by RMB700 million (USD102 million). XTC New Energy will subscribe RMB697 million (USD102 million) in cash, raising its shareholding in Ya'an XTC to 92.6667%.
