Northern Rare Earth hits record output across core products

China Northern Rare Earth (Group) High-Tech Co., Ltd. reported in its annual results that output of its major products reached an all-time high in 2025, with operating revenue rising 29.11% year-on-year to RMB42.56 billion (USD6.24 billion).

During the reporting period, production of smelting and separation products, as well as single lanthanum, single cerium, and rare earth metals, all increased against the prior year. Output and sales of magnetic materials, hydrogen storage materials, polishing materials, and permanent magnet motors each hit record highs, while solid-state hydrogen storage systems entered mass production.

Notably, annual sales of lanthanum and cerium products exceeded output for the first time in recent years, reflecting effective inventory destocking.
