Tengyuan Cobalt reports steady growth in core product output and sales

Ganzhou Tengyuan Cobalt New Material Co., Ltd. reported solid growth in 2025, with operating revenue reaching RMB8.34 billion (USD1.22 billion), up 27.47% year-on-year, according to its annual results.

During the reporting period, cobalt production rose 33.35% YoY to 27,300 metal tonnes, while sales increased 29.73% YoY to 24,800 metal tonnes. Copper production edged down 0.32% YoY to 54,300 metal tonnes, with sales declining 6.45% YoY to 51,400 metal tonnes. Nickel output fell 49.69% YoY to 1,715 metal tonnes, with sales down 66.88% YoY to 1,114 tonnes. Lithium output surged 106.57% YoY to 780.88 metal tonnes, while sales jumped 262.48% YoY to 848.43 metal tonnes. Production of ternary precursor materials climbed 90.47% YoY to 708.15 tonnes, with sales soaring 3,310.87% YoY to 784.5 tonnes.

Looking ahead, the company plans to expand its global footprint in both primary and secondary resources of key energy metals, including copper, cobalt, nickel, lithium, and manganese, while broadening its product portfolio and service offerings over the next three years.
