Major Chinese steel mills' daily pig iron output up 4.4% in early Apr

Major Chinese steel mills produced about 18.92 million tonnes of pig iron during the first ten-day period of April, with an average daily output of 1,892,000 tonnes, up 4.4% from late March, according to China Iron & Steel Association (CISA).
