Major Chinese steel mills' daily finished steel output up further in late Mar

Major Chinese steel mills produced around 22.64 million tonnes of finished steel during the final eleven days of March, with the daily average output of 2,058,000 tonnes, up 3.8% from mid-March, according to China Iron & Steel Association (CISA).

By the end of the period, finished steel inventories at major mills were 16.55 million tonnes, a decrease of 1.36 million tonnes, or 7.6%, from mid-March.
